Who we are

Guardner Australia is operated by Cubic Innov8 Pty Ltd (ABN 50 689 173 144), an Australian private company. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Cubic Innov8 Pty Ltd.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to sell you a belt and get it to your door:

• Your name — to address the parcel and your order emails
• Your email address — to send your receipt, tracking and any order updates
• Your shipping and billing address — to deliver the order and verify the payment
• Your order details — the size and quantity you bought, and the amount paid
• Correspondence — anything you send us by email or Instagram message, so we can help you

We do not ask for, and do not want, your date of birth, government identifiers, health information or any other sensitive information. Please don't send it to us.

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. It is a set of static pages — there is no login, no cart stored on our side, and nothing that follows you around the internet.

Why we collect it

To process and deliver your order, to handle returns, exchanges and warranty claims, to answer your questions, and to keep the business records we are required to keep under Australian tax and consumer law.

Payments and your card details

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you click through to pay, you are on Stripe's own secure checkout page, not ours.

We never see, receive or store your card number, expiry date or CVC. Stripe passes back only what we need to fulfil the order — your name, email, shipping address, what you bought, and whether the payment succeeded.

Stripe handles your payment information under its own privacy policy, which you can read at stripe.com/au/privacy.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the parties who make the order happen:

• Stripe — to take and reconcile your payment
• Our delivery carrier — your name, address and contact details, so they can deliver the parcel
• Our accountant, and government agencies — where we are required to disclose information by law

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent, trade or supply it to third parties for their own marketing.

Overseas disclosure

Stripe is a global company and may store or process your information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States and Ireland. By placing an order you consent to that disclosure. Apart from our payment processor, we do not routinely send personal information overseas.

Marketing

We will always email you about your own order. We will only add you to a marketing list if you have asked us to, and every marketing email we send will have a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not affect the emails about an order you have already placed.

Storage and security

Your order information sits in our Stripe account and our business email, both protected by strong passwords and multi-factor authentication. We keep order records for as long as Australian tax law requires (generally five years), and then delete or de-identify them.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email info@cubic-innov8.com and we'll respond within 30 days. There is no charge.

Complaints

If you think we've mishandled your personal information, email us first at info@cubic-innov8.com — we'd like the chance to fix it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
